Napa, CA

A 3000 square-foot residence of "PISE", stabilized earth, construction. The house was designed to encompass north and south courtyards separated by a glassed-in living space. This glass room connects the public wing of the house to the private bedroom wing. Both wings are constructed of 18" thick masonry walls using the "PISE" method of earth construction.
